what should i get my new boyfriend for valentines day?

I’ve been dating this guy for about 3 months now and he is my first ever boyfriend!! :) lol.. so like ive never done the whole valentines thing and its in about 3 weeks i have no idea what to get for him. he told me that none of his ex girlfriends have ever given him anything and so i want to. but i have never done this all before and so i have no idea what do get him.. or do with him
some one please help me! :)
(im 19, he’s 20 and we are both pretty straped for cash)

    the gift price does not matter as much as how much thought you put into it. i once got a pet rock that my girlfriend grabbed off the gorund, but because she named it and gave it emotional characteristics like it likes long walks on the beach and so forth, it made me love the gift, i still use it as a paper weight and sometimes even talk to it, but i dont take it to the beach for long walks because it dosent have legs,well you get my point.go to a dollar store and find little things that he might like, bundle them all in a basket or bag and if he really likes you he will appreciate anything that comes from you. just because it came from you.

    young age -just starting out.make it plain and simple. card,candy a teddy bear or two. here is a thought treat him to the movies.all of those things are adorable and affordable.besides it is the size of your heart on that day not your pocket.

    the best presents for young couples in my opinion are presents that you can enjoy together. say a trip to a romantic view and a picnic or a trip to the beach together. if he likes sports get him tickets so you can both go watch his favorite team. he will appreciate and remember it more if its a memory with you. hope this helps!
