Valentines Day Gift Idea?
Ive been with my bf for only a few weeks… our relationship is very new, I know he wants the Call of Duty : World at War game ($60) Its not very sentimental or sweet… should i just stick with the game or bake some cookies or something? Any ideas how to sweeten up the gift?

Valentine's Day Gift Idea?
I've been with my current girlfriend for all most 3 years now. I'm going to have flowers and chocolate right next to her on her bed stand when she wakes up. I'm kind of broke because I've been saving for an engagement ring but I want it too be a special day for her. What else could I get her? I need something cheap but will make her smile, any ideas? Thank you, I know this question has been asked a million times. I'm 22 she is 23.

If you don't have dinner plans, you could set up a nice table with candles and cook her dinner. Make chocolate fondue for dessert for a bonus.
Or you could make a big thermos of hot chocolate and some warm blankets and take her on a winter hike/picnic at a nearby park.
If you are going out to dinner: You get dressed early, so while she's getting ready, you can call the restaurant and see if they can push back your reservation (or if it's a really busy place, call a few days in advance and don't tell her). Put on some romantic music and when she comes out ready to go, ask her to share a few dances and a glass of wine with you first.
Basically, there are a million little ways to make her smile, very few of which require much money. And if you do decide to get her something…even the really cheap stuffed bear from walmart…having her discover it on her bed with rose petals scattered all over and a cute card is a sure way to make her swoon. Just remember – you have to be the one to clean up the rose petals.

What i mean by giving it to her is, I don't to give it to her just like that. I want it fun, secret, and suprising giving. For example: Pop a ballon and their would be our picture inside. A good Idea is to make a batch of cupcakes. Make each top of the cupcake a different color of frosting. then on top of that with white icing pipe on things like (Love you, Text me, Hi, or anything that you would find on a sweetheart) I think that would be a great Idea. He would be shure to love that. Hope it works for you.

How about a scrapbook of photos from your time together. Or a memory box with photos, cinema tickets anything that will remind him of you. You can decorate the box or book really nice in his favourite colours. You could even add some new stuff, a love letter or poem maybe?
As for a recipe, whats his favourite meal ever? You don't have to make something fancy, his favourite will always earn you more brownie points than some really fancy complicated recipe.Have a great valentines day!

If you have a picture of you both together you could frame it and give him that. you could make him some valentine cookies or a valentine cake, you could make a scrap book with things you both have done you know good old memories. my bf loves peanut butter cookies so I made these cause they are easy: 1 cup crunchy peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1 extra large egg. mix ingredients together then scoop up about a tablespoon of dough and roll into balls and put on a ungreased cookie sheet. press balls down with a fork. preheat oven to 350 and bake until edges are brown. 3 to 10 min. ovens vary so check often. quick easy and delicious.this recipe was on some tv program.Happy Valentines Day to you and yours

Valentine's Day Gift Idea..?
asked this question a few days ago, but i thought maybe i could get a few more suggestions. for valentine's day i think im going to get my boyfriend 5 gifts one that applies to each of the 5 senses. a picture frame of us for sight, a personalized bar of soap for smell, custom candy for taste, and a mix cd for hearing. the only thing i am stuck on is touch. like a few people suggested boxers or something but i want something more creative. any good ideas ? plus he is 19 years old. thank you so much!

heya, last year about 2 weeks before my boyfriend went to iraq, we split up, it was over my birthday and easter, so the thought being without him was heartbreaking, anyway we resolved the problem and are together to this day.lol. but this yeasr, i went on http://www.photobox.com where u can personalise your gifts. i chose a calendar – as in the year one, where you can upload loads of your own photos. the quality is amazing, and you can choose the layouts. it cost £20 all together. i have given it him already cus im going away and wont see him, and he loved it.
or another idea, is if you get a plain white duvet cover, you can get this paper where you can print out you own photos onto it of your computer, and then iron them onto the material. one of my friend did it for her best mate. ands its amazin, the duvet it just covered with photos. so everytime he goes to bed he'll have to think of you!

My girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. There's a book that's she's wanted and I told her I would send it to her. I'm not into getting her something like flowers, or jewelry, or a teddy bear, or chocolate. Although those are all cute, I wanted something a little less.. cliche. I was thinking about getting red and pink sticky notes and on each page writing one reason why I love her. There's about 400 pages in the book. I'm just wondering.. do you think this is a good idea? Is it cute or just stupid?

that's a really cute idea, but instead of 400 why dont u just slip some here and there. on the 3rd 1 u could say its the last 1, but then really have another after it. then 'lie' again, and promise it really is the last note. then on the real last note, write somethin that will always remind her why she's with u! does that make sense? do about 20 altogether or somethin, its just that with 400, i think ull b able to c the notes when the book's closed. good luck with it tho!

How about limiting it to a dozen scattered randomly through the book. That way it won't be visible, and it'll surprise her as she finds the next one. One on each page would add alot of bulk to the book and I think after the first 50, it'd lend to the annoying side…

If you wanna sweeten the deal…. print out a picture of the game and put it in a envelope with a note saying that you couldnt afford the real thing but you wanted to get him something he wanted…… and hide it. then in his valentines day card, leave a note with clues as to where to find it….once he finds it (make sure your standing behind him) and reads the note with the picture, when he turns around be holding his real present with a playful little face. he will appreciate the extra playful effort much more then cookies!
