    Well, what did you do instead of giving materialistic gifts? If you did absolutely nothing, then you are cheap money-wise and personality wise, but if you made up for it with actions, then you aren't either.

    People throw out cards, flowers die, and some people don't wear jewelry becuase they might lose it, which why I don't get them anything..
