Is this a good Valentine’s Day date idea?
->
Hi. I was thinking of taking my girlfriend on a date on Valentine’s Day. I’m probably going to show up with some flowers and chocolate when I pick her up. I was thinking I could take her to Chili’s and then after dinner, take her to see a movie. When the movie is over, I would take her to Bruster’s to get her favorite ice cream and then take her home. Does this sound good? I’m not sure its all that great because it doesn’t sound very romantic and my girlfriend loves romantic things.

Take her to see Dear John, even if you dont like chick flicks! :p. Otherwise it sounds good to me… i like she will like it very much!

I think it sounds nice and sweet. Depends on what kind of girl you’ve got. Me, I would want my guy to treat me to dinner and drinks, then we’d have Valentine’s Day sex alllll night loooong.

the question is does it sound like you? if you come over all romantic and you aren’t generally a romantic person then it could be weird. if this sounds like something you would do then she would love it. if you want to do something way different than your own persona ( persona right?) then it would be a shock.

That sounds lovely!! Just make sure the movie isn’t something like Legion or Book of Eli

Sounds great to me – bring roses and chocolates when you pick her up – at the end of the evening you could present her with another little gift if your budget will allow – a teddy bear or jewelry or a cd or cologne – sounds perfectly romantic to me:) Also, if it’s not too late and too cold, go for a walk under the stars and give her a nice long, romantic kiss.
