I would say yes, as long as the gift is nice. Nothing like pieces of macaroni covered in glitter and stuck to paper. If it looks well-made, somewhat professional, and like it took time to make, it will surely be a hit. Especially if you make it extra personal. An example would be a cd mix of you and your partners "special songs" in a jewel case with album art that you designed. You have to make the effort though, if you are going to make it handmade.

If someone were to make me a hand made Valentine…I would keep it forever because it means that they cared enough about me to take the time to make a special one just for me.Anyone can go to a card store and just buy one..it takes an ever so special person to make one.Good question !
